Privacy policy

Last updated: September 8, 2026

Short version: your video stays on your device, and this site does not collect anything about you.

Your files

The video you pick is read by the browser and processed in memory on your computer. It is never uploaded, streamed, or copied to a server. The file you download at the end is built locally. When you close or reload the tab, the working copy is discarded and nothing is kept.

What the page loads

Opening the tool downloads its own code from this domain. A compressed WebAssembly build of FFmpeg (about 10 MB) downloads the first time a video needs re-encoding, also from this domain. The page uses the fonts already on your system, so no font service or CDN is contacted, and there are no other outbound requests. Your video is not one of these requests. It never leaves the tab.

Analytics and cookies

There are none. No analytics script, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no advertising code. The site does not store personal data in your browser.

Server logs

The host that serves these files may keep standard access logs, such as IP address and requested URL, for security and to keep the site running. Those logs never contain your video, because your video is never sent.

Contact

There is no contact form. A form would mean collecting your details, and this site does not do that. Because nothing about you is stored or transmitted, there is nothing to request, correct, or delete.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
